About Me
I am your friendly bookkeeper Josh Scoville. I was born and raised here in central Georgia. Macon is my home and I currently work in Gray. I graduated from Jones County High School in 1994, a proud JCHS Greyhound. My wife and I call Jones County home while we raise our two boys who are currently 12 and 15.
I have a well rounded career ranging from broadcasting as an engineer to IT building and repairing computers and working on networks and configuring switches and routers.
I opened my own computer repair business and thus began my bookkeeping career as I ddi my own books for my business. I even took accounting classes to help me understand the why behind what I was doing. This really solidified a foundation that has served me well today in my professional career as I have grown into a management role at my current job. You really have to understand accounting fundamentals and budgeting to be a successful manager in any role or industry. I am known as a man of integrity and colleagues have even told others that they would trust me with the keys to their own homes. This is a compliment that I don’t take lightly. I want to convey that integrity to you because you have to be able to trust your bookkeeper. Let’s be real, you are sharing lots of very sensitive data about you, your employees, and your business. We at Scoville Bookkeeping Solutions will not breach that trust you have placed in us, that is my promise to you.
I have developed a love for numbers and data. I enjoy seeing and showing you how the numbers work together to paint a graphical picture of your business health. I use QuickBooks Online as it is the industry standard and has robust feeatures to serve all businesses of any size.
